The Zelsnack’s three,

share the same bond.

Sisterhood—

From one generation to the next.

We have shared life’s greatest moments,

triumphs, and tragedies.

That strengthened our sense of purpose.

We are proud to have served our nation,

during war and peacetime.

We are unique with our abilities,

 to edit words into publication.

We are encouraged by film,

that tells a multitude of stories.

We are the poets,

expressing our thoughts onto parchment.

We are the wanderlust travelers,

of adventures into the unknown.

We are the social debaters,

speaking up on behalf of the oppressed.

We are the keepers,

of our family’s genealogy.

A scroll for future generations to ponder.

Encouragement—

Love—

Laughter—

Womanhood—

These are the ties that intertwine,

the sisters three.
