Two weeks of exploring different ways to put my ideas to canvas.

I used two apple tree branches to create the branches of a cherry tree.
The bottom painting is a combination of salted water color and acrylic paints
The bottom painting is water color
I used a heavy makeup brush to upstroke the paint to create Auroras in the painting.

Mary Anne Abdo is an author, poet and photographer. She graduated magna cum laude from Luzerne County Community College with a degree in Human Services. With a background in freelance journalism; she uses her poetry as a source of creative expression, which reflects on many facets of what it means to be a human being living in these modern times. Mary Anne placed second for her photography and short story submission in the Museum of Family Prayer's 2022 Mary Garden contest. She has also collaborated on several children's book, Creative Gems Volumes 2&3, and has been featured internationally in Bindweed Magazine's seasonal anthology.Her work has been archived through the National Library of Ireland courtesy of Bindweed Magazine. She has appeared on the local talk show PA Live, The B Inspired podcast Eat the Storms Podcast and several stage appearances.
