Some sun peeked out between winter’s whipping winds for my lunchtime. I have been coming to this place since March. I had forgotten about Mountain Lake for 40 years. It was and still is a favorite place to fish and ice skate.  This was the place of my school years to ice skate and warm up by the bonfire.

I have written more poetry and taken more photos at this peaceful lake. As 2026 ushers into a better year for everyone. I wish you a blessed and healthy New Year.
