My editor in-chef Mr. Pumpkin has been at his wits end over my lack of not producing quality poetry since Thanksgiving. He is not happy with my many nights spent in the kitchen baking, listening to Sting Live from Durham Cathedral, and having my son try on his Santa suit for our outdoor light display. I guess my end of year editorial evaluation will be poor. I must contemplate how I can redeem myself in less than three weeks.

Mr. Pumpkin is adorable. Give him a boop on the nose for me.❤️

Thank you, Sue, for your encouragement. Since I joined WordPress, Pumpkin has made appearances. I am thinking about writing a children’s book on Mr. Pumpkin, my editor-in-chief chief, next year.
