The Awe of Simplicity

Two weeks ago, my husband and I visited a church that was about an hour away from our home. The church is nestled the Cunningham Valley of Luzerne County Pennsylvania. The original building was built in 1780 and expanded in 1841.. The Historic Brainerd Church every year has a craft fair and brings people from as far as Connecticut to see the sights of this historic area. I sat there in retrospect and imagining a time when electricity did not exist. Hoping our society can return back to some of this simplicity.
